JERRI COLOGNA
PROJECT ADMINISTRATOR

Restaurant owner in her twenties. International traveler in her thirties. Knows how to crochet, demo a bridge, and be merry with locals in any pub, worldwide. In her current role in the VG Construction team, Jerri knows everything there is to know about estimating and bidding.( In short, it’s good to know Jerri.)

STEVE COLVIN
PROJECT ENGINEER

With over two decades of engineering experience, Steve has worked on everything from surgical facilities to schools. Even when he’s not on the clock, he’s working; tackling home improvement projects with his son or cooking for his family. Quiet by nature, Steve prides himself on listening for what isn’t being said. He’s found the answers to questions personal and professional often exist in the absence of words.

LISA COMBS
DIRECTOR OF ASSET MANAGEMENT

Developing a project is only the start of the process. As Asset Manager, Lisa comes through on everything that comes next. With a seasoned understanding of compliance issues and a flair for the details, Lisa ensures residents are happy. (Camping and hanging out with family ensure Lisa is happy too.)

SCOTT CONROY
SITE SUPERINTENDENT

Some numbers that help explain Scott—3 (daughters), 25 (years in construction), 4 (businesses owned), and 1 (dog BFF.) As a project manager in Troy, New York, Scott was drawn by the idea of shaping historical renovations in his lifelong hometown (number of projects completed to come.)

JOEY CRUM
ARCHITECT

Perfect construction documents are Joey’s end game—and mastering computer software is his favorite part of the process. A small town, Show-Me State kid, Joey has been a tech junkie ever since his college years at the University of Rolla. Whether tinkering under the hood of a Mustang, mastering the latest gadget, or advancing his two decade career in architecture, Joey seeks to understand and then solve (The Force is strong with this one).

MATT DARST
DEVELOPER

Matt knows that starting something is only part of the deal—to succeed it also needs attention & nurturing. An entrepreneur since his childhood days hawking Pokemon cards, Matt brings attention to detail, strategy & a gift for property acquisition to his Developer postion. (Matt is also quite a successful grower—literally. His family’s organic garden is legendary.)

RANDY DAUM
DESIGN PROFESSIONAL

With over two decades of experience designing in the MEP field, Randy is a draftsman extraordinaire. Other titles he holds: Fisherman. Camper. Dad. Backyard griller. And Meatloaf Craftsman. (We saw it with our own eyes–a Halloween creation, made entirely of meatloaf. It was unexpected. But undeniably tasty.)

MICAH EVEN
ADMINISTRATOR

As a kid, she was known as “Micah the Maker”—always creating costumes, art projects and tree forts. As an adult, Micah spent 9 years as an educator, teaching kids how to make STEM creations. Finally, she reached a point where she just wanted a job that would make a difference—and ended up at Vecino. (Now that she’s here, we secretly hope a tree fort will follow.)

CASEY GREER
AIA, LEED AP
ARCHITECT

You know the saying, “don’t sweat the small stuff?” Luckily, Casey doesn’t. As an architect, he conceptualizes the big picture while minding every tiny detail along the way. It all results in intuitive spaces where people gather and Live. (That capital L is an intentional—Casey exhibits an uppercase zest for Living by camping, fishing, and oh yeah—riding his unicycle.)

COLLEEN HARGIS
PROJECT COORDINATOR

Before the sun ever comes up, Colleen has often taught a hot yoga class. A devotee of yoga, expertly prepared food, gardening, travel, and spreadsheets (for real), Collen seeks balance in all things. From managing projects to balancing budgets, jumping out of airplanes or meditating at dawn, she loves it all.

KELLY HEILICH
ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER

Working your way up the ladder teaches a person how to navigate each rung. With 17 years of construction experience—doing just about everything—Kelly has all the skills to be a successful Assistant Project Manager. In her off time, she’s a devout Girl Scout Leader (aka: the Greater Good through Thin Mints).

BRAD HOLGATE
SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER

We challenge you to find a nicer guy than Brad. With a work ethic honed growing up on a farm and a faith that permeates everything he does, Brad heads up the VG’s second West Coast office (Salt Lake City.) He’s a Senior Project Manager. A father of five. (And honestly, his kindness can’t be overstated.)
