National affordable and supportive housing developer Vecino Group proudly welcomes Wesley Brown as Director of Development to lead their Southeast team. In his new role at the Vecino Group Atlanta office Wesley will be instrumental in expanding the company’s portfolio to provide affordable and supportive housing in Georgia and surrounding states.
With 12 years of planning and development experience, Wesley brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the team. Prior to Vecino he was Director of Planning & Capital Projects for Central Atlanta Progress, a nonprofit community development organization that provides services and economic growth for the city. As Director, Wesley was responsible for managing downtown Atlanta’s portfolio of both public & private infrastructure projects.
“We are thrilled to welcome Wesley to our team,” said Vecino Group President Kody Redwing. “His knowledge of the industry, creative thinking and ability to connect with communities will be a tremendous asset as we continue to grow and provide mission-driven development.”

Wesley holds a bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture from North Carolina State and a Masters of Urban Design from Georgia Tech and is an active board member of the Atlanta Bicycle Coalition.
