National affordable and supportive housing developer Vecino Group proudly welcomes John Salat as Chief Executive Officer of Vecino Construction.
In this new role, John will lead all construction efforts as Vecino continues its growth in existing communities and to expand Development of the Greater Good nationwide.
With a career spanning more than 27 years in real estate development and construction management, John brings an unwavering commitment to excellence and project delivery. His expertise in multifaceted roles— from operational leadership to strategic planning—has served successful development and construction efforts from Texas to Dubai. This experience and passion for working with people will both complement and further elevate the existing teams within Vecino Construction.
“John comes to us with a tremendous track record in construction operations as well as leadership,” said Vecino Construction President Mike Willemsen. “His focus on the operational control of our construction efforts will help continue our growth and take our work to the next level.”
From his office in Austin, Texas John will oversee all construction efforts and teams for Vecino Construction, while also following the Vecino Group’s “One Table Development” model: working collaboratively with leadership across each internal department.
