Seeking a detail driven Superintendent/Asst. Superintendent to work closely in conjunction with the Project Manager to manage daily construction site activities to keep projects on schedule and on budget, reporting to the Project Manager regarding project-specific tasks. CONSTRUCTION ESTIMATOR - TROY, NY

Location: Troy, NY
The role of the Construction Estimator is to represent the Construction department through working with the design and development teams starting at project inception to carry out and perform the duties listed below and take the lead through a Design Development level. This role will establish conceptual estimates during project pre-development, interface with local, regional and state agencies to identify permitting and special inspection requirements that impact the scope and budget of construction, refine conceptual estimates during Schematic Design, working with the design teams for constructibility reviews and selection of building systems and materials to meet project budgets. During the presonctruction phase, the Estimator will manage the selection and procurement of commodities, establishing allowances for the design team selection of products to meet the construction budget, and work closely with the design team and developers on renovation projects to identify key risks and establish budgets for demolition and restoration/historical scopes. Operationally, the Estimator will be responsible for:
• Developing and maintaining historic cost database to maximize estimating efficiency and increase conceptual estimating accuracy.
• Working with President and Director of Construction to establish and maintain standard scope of work packages for bidding and procurement.
• Assisting in developing policies/procedures for the Construction department, making recommendations for new policies and required updates and maintenance of existing policies.
• Scoping in the RFQ/RFP process and the selection of partners and initial establishment of project scope and budget.

The role of the Construction Project Executive is to represent the Construction department in the South region through senior-level leadership, from handoff of the projects from Preconstruction through completion. – Management and enforcement of subcontractor compliance – executed subcontracts, valid insurance certificate, etc.
– Work in conjunction with Superintendent to develop Quality Assurance and Quality Control measures
– Monthly cost reconciliation and forecast reporting
– Maintain an updated and accurate change management process, including status logs for each OAC, timely pricing of changes and processing of owner and subcontractor change orders
– Administer RFI process, ensuring timely responses through maintaining updated logs, follow up with responsible parties for responses and distribution of answers to impacted entities with timely responses to the design team and owner of any cost or schedule implications.
– Management of monthly billing and invoicing, including:
– Chair and administer required meetings during construction – pre-installation planning, OAC meetings, etc. and provide minutes of meeting discussions
– Maintain control of project documentation and filing in compliance with standardized folder structure
– Manage punch list process
– Project closeout – coordinate and manage final inspections, owner training, assembly of maintenance and operations data for building components and collection of warranties

The Vecino Group is seeking engineering team members with a desire to help in our mission to create housing for the greater good—through a variety of multi-family housing and mixed use projects, both new construction and historic renovations. Our immediate need is for a team member who has experience in the preparation of electrical layouts for lighting, power, and equipment, riser diagrams, panel layouts and conductor sizing. Experience designing building fire alarm, and other low voltage systems is a plus. PE license is not required. AutoCAD and/or Revit experience is required.

Our need is for a team member who has experience in the preparation of Architecture construction documents and knowledge of architectural building systems.
The ideal candidate would have a desire to become a licensed Architect, or is already on track to receive an architectural degree/license, with a Bachelor of Science/Masters of Architecture or equivalent accredited professional degree.
